I voted for Obama twice. I thought he was going to change things. I don’t care how popular or beloved he is, he was a status quo politician in the bankers pocket. Him being articulate and likable doesn’t change anything. Bernie is what I hoped Obama was going to be. Him coming out and fear mongering about Democratic socialism isn’t going to change the minds of any Bernie supporters or potential ones.

People are going to disagree with my stance but I will be personally voting for Bernie regardless of who the nominee is. I will write him in just like I did last time. I’m tired of choosing between the lesser of two evils, I’m going to vote for the person I want to be President.

I think if he comes out in support of Biden and promotes it as a return to Obama era leadership, the other candidates are sunk.

Ay breh @wtfyomom this is what I'm talking about with the Warren left/Justice Dems left. They're trying to get Bernie's team to delete their Joe Rogan tweet. This is the same stuff from when they lost their minds about Bernie going on Fox and Warren getting praise for denouncing them. Here's the problem -- all these people in the new left including the Jacobin people hang out in the same bars, write in the same places and go on each others' podcasts so they all fall in line with this hyper polarized idpol. Hardly anyone is pushing back. Just check 'Rogan' on Twitter

I'm not caping for Rogan or Fox but if they make Bernie's team delete a innocuous tweet it's just more proof that they are useless.. This is why I say Bernie's vision is better because he creates a big tent while the new left is gonna only be appealing to upper middle class urbanities on Twitter. The left thinks electoral politics is kicking somebody out of a group because they were being too problematic or removing Bret Stephens/NYT opinion writers and replacing them with TeenVogue people. Completely useless

I agree somewhat but here's where I disagree. I think we were always headed down a path of hyper polarized liberalism after Hillary but Bernie re-directed course. We are still dealing with the effects of that bipolar primary where the professional left and working class left teamed up vs Hillary. The activist wing split between Bernie/Hillary because Hillary was so awful.

The activist/professional left journalist crowd prefers Lizard Warren, Kamala and Castro. They might be "left" but they're not working class left. They rank an entirely different set of issues than the people who support Sanders. This upper-middle class group of professionals and activists like Working Families Party put Warren's apparent superiority on issues of "race and identity" as the key difference over Bernie and ironically this is something white people generally care about.

When you see these activists say, "talk about trans healthcare!" Talk about black women's healthcare!" Make your campaign centered around this but be sure to not actually propose doing anything about it. Bernie doesn't pander to them and proposes the correct solution that doesn't specifically target their identity which is why you see pushback from hyper polarized white liberals.
