Why would there be a freak out? I was told he's the most popular politician in America and people all hate the establishment and moderates.

Yall play these hypothetical games, but I've been consistent that primary elections reflect the will of active voters and the direction the electorate chose to go. It was the same for Trump and the same for Hillary.

That said, you don't even believe your hypothetical because you have said repeatedly no one is gaining 51% going into the convention.

You're right, I don't believe the hypothesis.

BUT WHAT IF IT DID HAPPEN :mjlit:

Obama and his team don't take Bernie seriously. Which is why if Bernie looks like he's going to win the nomination, then it'll be all hands on deck to stop him. But they aren't planning it as they are sure that Bernie won't get close to sniffing the nomination.

It's a big gamble by them because I can easily see them being caught blind sided.
I get frustrated by the coverage Bernie gets whether its hostile, pretending he doesn't exist or attacking him through Warren as a proxy...

but I'm now of the belief that this is a good thing. It might be an advantage that cable news and elite Democrats don't take him serious this time around and think he'll flame out. Since he's getting ignored, he's gone almost untouched of attacks during the primary.

Pretty much every candidate from Beto, Kamala, Pete, Warren, Amy, Biden and now Bloomberg got media hype but then naturally got backlash once they moved up in the polls. Bernie's unmovable base and steady rise is a benefit. He's already got great favorables, people just think Biden is more electable and hopefully that changes peoples minds if Biden finishes 4th in Iowa.

Tulsi is talking about pulling out the Middle East entirely, ending war adventures, and directly engaging with dictators and authoritarians.

But people think that's not radical? :picard:

bro get that hindu nationalist and genocidal maniac out of here :stopitslime:

Pulling out of a region and creating a power vacuum and "ending war adventures" sounds good until you realize that that's just another way to empower dictators and authoritarians

What is she talking about in regards to the citizens and cultural upheaval? Anyone can end a war. How are you going to show love to the people?

By keeping your military operations there? Is our involvement really making a difference? If anything it is creating a dependent situation with no exit. Plus we pick and choose which dictators to oppose and which to partner with. It is not at all a principled effort. We just out here fukking with other countries' sovereignty for our own benefit.
