I'm confident Bernie's got this. He's spending 30 million on television ads through Super Tuesday. His non voting bloc and Latino base can win him California

Meanwhile, nonvoting Democrats were also more likely to support single-payer and to approve of Bernie Sanders, who boasted a higher “very favorable” rating among such Democrats than Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren. In fact, Sanders was the only Democratic candidate to enjoy higher favorability among nonvoting Democrats than those who regularly show up at the polls.
Leftism Isn’t Very Appealing to Nonvoters. But Bernie Sanders Is.

Mr. Sanders has collected more money from Latino voters than any other candidate in the Democratic field, raising three times more from the group than Barack Obama did in 2008. He leads among Latino voters in a set of new surveys conducted by The New York Times Upshot and Siena College, receiving 28 percent of the Democratic primary vote in six swing states.

“The Sanders campaign has collected more money from Latino donors than any other campaign,” raising 4X as much as the Warren campaign and 5X more than the Biden campaign
‘Tío Bernie’ Is Courting the Latino Votes He Needs to Win

You already know there's gonna be massive activist presence at the convention. If Bernie ends up leading in total delegates but it has to go to the second round and they pass it off to someone else, the Democratic party is finished lol. Handing it off to a centrist and not giving it to Bernie/Liz is going to create a riot.

The DNC was broke and Hillary was the only reason they were above water. We have on the record quotes saying she has influence over super delegates for 2020 and Bill Clinton told Tom Perez not to let the party go to the Bernie folks. I am slightly skeptical of Liz but I'm not cynical enough to believe she is scheming with Hillary. I know they met a few months ago but ehhh idk.

i don’t think Warren is scheming. Hillary has met with most of the candidates running.

Warren is obviously saying she’s a team player and is operating within the Party But doing this and some of this pandering we are seeing which isn’t her brand at all is gonna hurt her if they continue that stuff.

VP is a useless job so let Nina talk her shyt with it :yeshrug:

Sara Nelson and Zephyr Teachout are on my short list as well.

And in all seriousness I don't see why Cornel West shouldn't be on the short list too :hubie: I mean did you see the leaked list of Hillary's cabinet and VP possibilities in 2016
lol at C.west. that would be historic. even though we know the vp dont really do much.

that isnt the point. IF the people vote for the bern in the primaries and he wins the general.

He not only needs a VP that can keep the movement going if something happened to him health wise. But he needs a younger version of himself at VP so other people can see that person as the next bernie after these 4 or 8 years. We will need to keep a bernie-esk candidate in office for a good 12 to 16 years in order to pull off everything in the agenda. because that much time with that mentality will change how the voters and could be voters think about politics and politicians working on their behalf. it could completely change the landscape of politicians because of it. imagine having a bunch of AOC's running around in DC and at the state/local levels.

I really wish i could trust yang to not turn around and become a capitalist business person once he got in office.

they want a brokered convention to prevent Bernie from winning

People need to realize this... even if Bernie wins the most delegates but not a majority, they wont care

Lmao. They cannot be that goddamn stupid though. They NEED the progressive wing. They can not be that in love with themselves.

I know. I know who these people are :snoop:

Remember back in 2016, Michael Bloomberg said he'd only run for pres to stop Bernie from winning. If he’s entering the 2020 race, you know what the deal is.

Am I the only one who thinks this is the best possible newd for Bernie? Once Blomberg and his surrogates start spitting out of touch talking points on the economy, Bernie will just make campaign ads day after day on them. A literal punching bag.

Also lol

Yes, it's a def a good thing Bloomberg is in the race. It's funny that everyone is trying to erase Bernie from the billionaire conversation btw. Bernie has tons of anti-endorsements from billionaires but the exclusion of him that's going on right now isn't a mistake. It's calculated:mjgrin:

Also a good thing: I know Mayor Pete sucks but he's good for Bernie in Iowa. Nate Silver with a rare good take as a pundit.

He already is a capitalist business person. :mjtf:
that is my point. the UBI has people believing otherwise. I'm on the fence. Something he keeps saying when he talks about government job guarantees, and when talking about medicare for all in regards to having private insurance participate. those two things give me that business guy alert. dont want businessmen running my country. i keep telling people running america is not like running a for profit business.
