Nvidia is the way to go. AMD has shytty gpu and CPUs now. They fukked up this iteration.

This was one of my favorite history classes in college surprised I didn't hear about this earlier but do you recommend any other Assassin's Creed prior to Assassin's Creed Origins?

AC 2 and AC Brotherhood were my personal favorites in the series. AC Rogue and Black Flag were great too. AC III was a mixed bag. Great in some parts and hella disappointing in other parts of the game. AC Syndicate was solid.
