Just wack... The mental gymnastics he goes through to make a bad movie is wild. Like you you give Zack a home run concept...

Zombie Heist / Escape from Las Vegas concept Movie and he just finds a way to shyt all over it.

Zombie robots, zombie fetus, zombie society /politics, stupid dad daughter drama, kill off every character but one, turning Zombie into Bio-Weapons, focal blur, and every stupid inconvenience that's there to get to next story beat.

Like damn... Maybe James Gunn can save this franchise, because this seems up his alley. It is unfortunate they wasted the Zombie Heist film with only 20 minutes of a fake Heist that doesn't make sense, because Zack had to write in another inconveniences with the bum ass tiny helicopter

What was up with that focal blur? Did he think it looked cool?he's blurring out which should have been dope back drops. Dude sabotaged his own cinematography doing shyt like that.

This is one thing that I'll defend about this movie.

I will say this super evident that Zack is a terrible writer and a lot of people couldn't figure this out.

The whole dad daughter storyline is Zack illustrating his grief of his deceased daughter that committed suicide. It was really shytty, because it was based on some real world circumstances that's just awful and shytty. You're supposed to feel this way. It hinted at it when they keep telling her that she's gonna get herself killed like every ten minutes ... I was like... This is about Zack's daughter. Then, the whole... You wasn't there is why I hate you.. Confirmed it Like damn. That was kind of rough.

I enjoyed Army of the Dead but might've enjoyed it more if it had been the batshyt crazy movie that the trailer implied it would be.

The movie suffered from what a lot of Zack Snyder's movies suffer from: Snyder's inability to edit himself.

If he'd have cut out the father/daughter stuff or even better just cut out the daughter character completely then this would have been a better movie.

As it stands I did like the zombie action stuff, I thought the rag tag band of mercenaries were all decent characters with Ghost and the German safe cracker being my favorites.

Will be interesting to see if we get a sequel with Omari Hardwick as the alpha zombie.

That vault should've been vaporized with the rest of Las Vegas let alone Ghost strolling out of it 5 minutes after the bomb dropped acting like there was no radioactive fallout.
