I've never had more deja vu watching a movie. weird experience. i swear i've seen every single scene in this movie in something else. every character. every redundant zombie moment. the only thing i don't think i've seen is a zombie tiger, but even that felt familiar. hollywood definitely has a zombie dart board where they just have a bunch of "this meets that" style genres/stories. Zombies meet *throws dart* summer camp? would that work? has that been done? only 3 times? fukk it, let's make it 4.

oceans 11 during a zombie outbreak sounded cool, but this is wildly mediocre. i'm actually mad Vegas wasn't more of a star of this movie. half the time they're in hallways and shyt.

That's mainly because she replaced Chris D'elia and all of her scenes are reshoots. I saw somewhere that she said she never even met Batista or the girl and they put them together using green screen or digital editing.

That wasn’t Geeta. Geeta was the mom that the daughter went in to get.

Movie was okay and enjoyable for what it was. Also it was about 30 minutes too long but that’s Zack’s style.

The next move for the zombie genre is to make them scary again.

Movie was pretty disappointing. Snyder is just not a good story teller. Also noticed several if not more rip offs and or homages. The opening montage reminded me of Zombie Lands opening credits but I think the escape from Vegas would of made a better movie ironically.

He almost did a shot for shot in the beginning of American Werewolf in London, not sure if anyone else noticed. And then Aliens with the helicopter not being there when he came out with his daughter then it showing up, but the king zombie jumping on board.

Snyder just wasn't very original here. Movie def too long and was slow to get to the action. The characters were underdeveloped as usual, the bad ass latina John Wick chick seemed like she would be more relevant gets killed in one of the dumbest ways. The safe cracker dude was more annoying than funny. Bad writing all around.

If you like mindless zombie movies its a decent watch but Snyder looked like a first time movie maker here imo.

I thought it was okay.

It took too long to Zombie.

Also subtract the daughter and the movie becomes better instantly

There were some dope death scenes. And once the movie finally started to Zombie, I was all in.

Was the pilot smoking on a black? lol

Edit: That budget Jupiter's Legacy CGI tiger :snoop:

I would give it 7 out of 10. Cast was alright. I guess in a sense, if Zack made Dawn of the Dead after, I would be more into this. I wouldn't say its a let down, but Dawn for me is a classic. Although Romero did this type of stuff in other movies, where he 'humanized' them to a degree.

A Solid Zom Fare.

I remember seeing a zombie tiger in some random SyFy network zombie movie which was pretty decent. Can't remember the name tho.
I think it starred Ving Rhames and the fine ass OG Navia from Spartacus.

here is my review .................................................

This movie was kinda entertaining and fun, this was far better than almost/any Hollywood movie in the last two or three years imo,,, ,,,,, this isn't a 28 days, dawn of the dead or world war z type flick and I wasn't looking for one.

If you don't enjoy Resident Evil( film 2002 ) type fukkery you may not like this film, just that simple...
