If you use the device you'll get over the notch. It took me half a day to just shrug it off. I mean I still don't like it but whatever. Like I said that area on most phones is an unusable status bar. The notch is like the lack of a headphone jack. It's here to stay. It's their iconic design for better or worse.That notch staying ya'll gonna be dissapointed.

Then it says next years iPhones will include the notch.

Not sure I'll keep this phone. I got two weeks with it before I'm stuck and right now I feel like that grand is better saved or spent elsewhere.
They got saps offering 300 on Swappa for those selling at 350
I always sell on Swappa. Never had an issue. If I keep this X my 7 will be sold on Swappa.

I got one of the newer MacBooks so I have the usb c new brick, and I got the 1 meter lightning to usb c cord.
shyts good money so far.
overall, phone has been performing like a new phone should.
face id works with different pairs of sunglasses with no problems. also works at night.
the Apple Pay change was something I thought was going to be an issue, but I'm used to it now and haven't has any issues.
AirPods have noticeably louder audio also.

For those that don't have a Mac book the iPad charger charges almost as fast as the Mac book charger and uses a standard lightning cable so way cheaper.

I'm skeptical about Apple releasing an LCD IPhone in the X form factor. Especially if it's a 6.1 display. That shyt don't even sound right.
Edit: adding to that, the notch would stick out even more on a LCD screen.
I think Apple needs to simplify their phone lineup.
It was nice when you just had one variation of a new phone.
That was one of the good things about Apple since their phone lineup used to never be this segmented.
As for the notch, I think it will be there at least until the 3rd generation of the X form factor.

The notch was a conscious decision so they could have an icon that was distinctive. The whole made for iPhone. The circle home button on a phone used to be that but on an all screen phone nothing would represent that.

I’m used to the 7+. I thought the X had a similar screen-size. It’s thinner, but taller. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but I wish I could have an X+
