I wonder what will be the differences between the iPhone X and XS? I’m thinking about just sitting this year out and just waiting until next year to upgrade again. Same with my Apple Watch.

Damn near same specs as the 7plus and its $600-699

Is that resolution for the 6.1” phone correct? It’s worse than the current 8+ but on a bigger screen and it’s not that much better than a 4.7” 8....

Damn only a couple days left. Getting the XS 5.8 but i'm interested how the 6.1 so called cheap IPhone is shown off and marketed.

I wouldn't be too sure fam. I read that the LCD IPhone X will take the place of last years IPhone X, which makes sense if the LCD IPhone really does start at $600-$699 I think they will keep the 8 around because it still has Touch ID.

Two things.

1) Few people who have an iPhone X will be upgrading to the iPhone XS. Most of the buyers will have older phones like the iPhone 6, 7, 8. For them, an XS is worth the money. Most iPhone X owners will hold onto their devices until 2019, if not later.

2) For the people who did have an iPhone X, they can resell/trade them and recoup a large chunk of the cost, putting it toward an iPhone XS. So you may only be spending $600-$700. And if you absolutely must have the latest and greatest, it’s worth it.

You must disabuse yourself of the notion that every iPhone needs to be justified based on what came out right before it. With the iPhone XS, iPhone Max and iPhone LCD, Apple is going after the people who still press home buttons.
