Apple really need to make 128GB base storage, which it should have been last year for a damn $1000 phone. But it looks to be 64/256/512GB, and im gonna be forced to go with 256 which is way too much for me. 128GB sweet spot imo, I like to save tracks from Spotify on my phone which is currently taking up 26GB alone. I guess If i didnt I might be alright with 64GB, but If I intend to keep it for 2 years then it might get a bit tight.

For Apple 64GB needs to be the base for the upsell. If 128GB was the base the vast majority would buy that. They make good profit on the upsell of storage.

The lack of 3D Touch on the XS cements my not getting it. 3D Touch is why I use Safari over Chrome on my iPhone X. I like it to preview web pages. I like it in general.

Yeah I get why its done, but its still shytty.

And 3D Touch will be on the XS, its only said to be removed on the 6.1" iPhone.
But they have said 2019 lineup might drop it completely.

However I dont believe Apple will remove it, without some form of replacement. Apple may have found a better implementation/alternative.

Yeah, that’s what I’m gonna do. You can even trade your series 3 into Apple and they’ll give you credit. I got $125 when I traded in my 2 to buy 3. I have the LTE series 2, so I’m hoping I get like $175 in credit

Get icloud, you can get 50gb for $1 a month and store your pics and videos and shyt in the cloud instead of on your phone.

Got it. Managed to drop my storage to about 52GB, which is kinda at the upper limit of 64GB as I believe the system takes up about 10GB.

Tbh saving songs on Spotify for offline play is using up 26GB alone. They need to just give me a special edition 128GB lmao and I’ll be happy.

Not comfortable with 64GB, will see but yeah probably gonna opt for 256GB even though I won’t even use half.

Did you go to Photos in Settings and check optimize iPhone storage?
