My main phone is still gonna be the iPhone 15 Pro Max but I’m switching my spare phone from S22 Ultra to the S24 Ultra. Was able to get 12% cash back at Rakuten, 5% cash back on my US Bank Cash+, 5% off with Perks at Work and I used their $150 credit to get an NvME SSD for my PC.

Ordered my 512gb purple ultra today, traded in my s23 ultra n did the rakuten cb, also used my $150 credit towards 2 year Samsung care, I broken the screen on my last 4 phones, always on the curve part of screen so I'm hoping the flat screen will finally end that streak

So ive had my s24+ for 4 days. Initial impressions is that this phone is amazing. I wanted the ultra originally, but never liked the box squared look and i have no use for the s pen as i dont even use the pen that comes with my galaxy tab s8+ tablet as well. Ultra has a superior camera and the new gorilla glass armor screen that basically negates screen reflections.

Those features werent worth the $300 over S24+ for me and my use case. Luckily us in the states, all s24 models have the snapdragon 3 chip. Also, the s24 ultra feels bigger in hand than the s24+ when i compared side by side in at&t. Dont be fooled by the screen size. Ultra is hella big.

Theres no doubt that the s24 and s24+ are carbon copies of the newer iphones in terms of their physical design. I like being back on flat screen. Ive been on curved screen since the S7 Edge back in 2016.

One ui is just more enjoyable to me instead of pure android. Google pixels still have better cameras and camera software, but thats not essential for my use.

Definitely keeping for the next 2 years.
