Gotta start doing what Coach K did and require players to commit for multiple tournaments if they want to play

If you want to play in Paris for 2024 then you need to show up for Manila in 2023

But stars run Team USA like they run the NBA so that won’t happen
This, they shouldn't have gone away from this model they implemented when they first revamped the USA program. Gotta build continuity so they're not constantly learning how to play together on the fly and stop treating the WC as a secondary event

The NBA philosophy of developing big men to play perimeter defense and play behind the point line is not going to look good at the world stage.

JJJ is the only player of note that can even resemble a center on the roster (kessler shouldn't be there) and yes he's a DPOY but he's never averaged double digit rebounds and doesn't play in the paint. So you got him going up against legit big men, of course we got outrebounded :snoop:
