Nominating both Lakeith and Daniel for Best Supporting is stupid as fukk. Lakeith is CLEARLY the lead in that film.

Congratulations to both of them. They killed their roles and the movie was excellent but having both of them in the same category could lead to vote splitting and Daniel CLEARLY deserves it

My fav of the year probably won’t get its best picture but my second fav may. Although if I’m putting money on it, Mank is the champ this year.

Nominating Daniel for best supporting actor makes no sense :russ: the lead in a movie with an arc can’t be the supporting actor.

Other than that, dope choices for the most part

Really happy for Yeun, glad he’s getting recognition. Haven’t seen Minari yet but his performance in Burning was pretty damn good.

I don’t see Ludwig’s name up there for the Tenet score, and that saddens me. :beli:
Agreed on all points.
I don’t like tenet but that mans music was on point.

In a year where everything was on my mind, but movies, I have a lot of catching up to do. Out of all those nominees, I've only seen Judas and the Black Messiah, Soul, and Onward. I guess I should give Mank a look since it's on Netflix and Citizen Kane is one of my all time favorites.
Yeah if that’s your fav you should definitely see mank

You 2 have differing opinions on who the lead is. Daniel seems to be the lead to me.
