For the last 4 years I've heard so many complaints about needing more choices.

Now that we have them people are complaining about votes being split.

The fact that voters are so split, in my opinion, affirms the prior complaint about lack of choice.

I welcome all the candidates honestly. I think it's much better than having only two damn people running with one being kind of the assumed nominee before the race begins.

I'm fine with folks sticking around longer. Outside Tulsi. She needs to GTFO.

I don't like too many choices. I'm ok with 3 or 4 candidates tops.

I feel like Amy, Steyer and Pete and eventually the Republican plant Bloomberg are all taking votes away from Biden. Don't like it one bit.

Put this in the Bernie thread but it shoulda gone here.

Last-day polls for South Carolina were remarkably consistent across the board

Biden: 40ish
Sanders: 24
Steyer: 12
Buttigieg: 11
Warren: 6
Klobuchar: 5
Gabbard: 2

If it ends up like that I think the media will play up Biden's win a lot but everyone else will yawn and move on. If Bernie gets within 10 points than Biden will just be glad he's still alive but will move like a wounded animal and Bernie's folk will consider it a win. If Biden wins by 25 or so, or Bernie finishes in the teens, it'll look like a real win for Biden and there might be some yapping and a bit of a Super Tuesday boost.

If Bernie wins, the race is practically over. Bloomberg will try to make his Super Tuesday run but no chance.

The issue being that no matter who you want to win, all those candidates means the delegates are getting split up and makes a contested convention more likely.

This....

the primaries stretching four months is already a joke, but trying to kick people out after 3-4 contests, basically taking choice from everyone else, is stupid. There will be a winner either way
