I don't understand how that would be smart, unless you mean if the establishment wants to keep the system the way it is and just concede a loss to Trump. Bloomberg is just diet-Trump. He's a Trump-lite, and he sure as shyt ain't touching Trump in a national election.

It would be smart because the moderate wing
can quickly consolidate around Bloomberg, who has tons of money. The establishment clearly doesn’t want Bernie which is why hacks like Carville and Matthews are crying on air nightly.

i dont fukkin know :dead: obama literally picked him for VP, for the same reason he should be winning this fukkin primary

he really is just 5 or so years too old :yeshrug:
I also think the Ukraine thing was a bad look for him. He came out of that looking worse than before.

There are also highlight videos of him telling people to vote for other candidates. I realize they're made for comedic effect, but if you tell enough people to go vote for someone else, they will eventually listen to you.

I'm with you on the bolded, but does the preceding part mean that you think Bloomberg should be the president?

IMO Bloomberg even being in the race at this point shows how broken and corrupt our system is.

I have no interest in having to vote for a guy like Bloomberg, which will put us right back into the system that gave us a President Trump to begin with. Then in 2024 we could get someone even worse than Trump.

Bernie is not winning those states. The repugnants will stir the pot in Miami with the Cubans claiming he’s socialist. They will also try to claim he is surrounded by anti semites for the Jews. He needs to just concentrate on those midwestern big ten states that Hillary lost. Those southern states have supposedly been “purple” every election cycle and it just doesn’t happen.
It’s too early to say if he’ll win NC and FL or not. Those states are virtual ties in the polls. Any predictions in Feb are just conjecture. Sanders electorate is an unconventional one like Trump’s in 2016 and we don’t know what his turnout will look like yet.

Facts.

I will say. Older white people are warming up to him. Just at my job and stuff like that, I've heard at least 3 people say there's got to be something there since it's so obvious the media doesn't want him to win.

I don't know if the polling still shows this, but I think older white people are his worst demographic. If he can reign in some of the full-stop revolution talk a little bit and get some more white people that are upper-middle class or even upper class on board, I think his momentum will be too strong.

But like you said, like the Trump crowd, the Bernie crowd is hard to predict. Bernie's crowd is very diverse and not that easy to pin down. Also, like with Trump, I think there's some stigma to being a Bernie supporter right now (for different reasons than Trump obviously), and I think he has a healthy amount of supporters that keep it on the down low.

Because his whole pitch has been

"I'm friends with Obama, remember him? I should be the nominee because im the most electable. Im the most electable because of the blacks! Hey black ppl, remember my black friend obama?"

Black people: ":unimpressed: uhhhhh yeah....sure..."

Plus when he lost NH he said something pretty much to the effect of "ok i lost here but wait till we get to some REAL states, like with black people. :dame:They will appreciate me and my best bud Obama"

I noticed he and Steyer kinda had the floor dropped from under them trying to juice the black vote
He did win the black vote today :manny:

Warren missed her chance in 2016
She took another L and is just gonna keep losing but if she stays in Bernie is not gonna gain her supporters as she poisons the well against him.
I think she had a great shot this year, somebody (or some group) did her a great disservice. If it's true she had Clinton people as advisors that she chose to listen to...:francis:
