:yeshrug:

Castro just highlighted a slip up.

What Castro was trying to do by repeatedly saying “did you forget?” was trying to continue the narrative and imply that Joe was losing his mind. Only dense individuals would try to act like he wasn’t doing that, which is why Castro is receiving the well deserved backlash today.

Personally The media doesn’t even need to cover this too much, Castro is a non factor and has no chance of being the nominee, let alone be a President.

Biden has a point

the USA would have the biggest system in the world if this happens.

Canada is 1/10th the population of the USA and way less dense

Last mile services are a huge infrastructure hurdle no one wants to discuss.

that’s why I can’t rock with bernies hand waving shyt.

:snoop:

We already have the biggest system!!!

As a country we spend $3.5 trillion on healthcare. $30M have zero coverage. Another 50M are underinsured! Half a million declare bankruptcy on medical costs per year.

Of that $3.5 trillion, about $2 trillion is being spent BY THE FEDERAL GOVT OR STATES via Medicare, Medicaid, VA system, CHIP and ACA!!! THOSE TOGETHER = THE LARGEST PUBLIC HEALTHCARE SYSTEM(s) in the world!!!

Public sector healthcare is going to be $20 trillion over the next 10 years already!

So when people say Medicare For All is $30 trillion over the next 10 years. They don’t mention we already have 60% being spent on it by our tax dollars today!!

The whole point is consolidate current programs into a new expanded Medicare and siphon off the trillion per year from private system into public sector to fund it!!

I didn't watch the debate and nobody provided a clip. I can't say you're wrong about his behavior.

He's right, Castro caught Joe out there but it was very Swalwell like in execution. Random but while Castro was doing that, Joe stepped back and asked Bernie about it and Bernie whispered something to him about it. I'm curious what the exchange was (it was friendly regardless). The only thing is that it was probably kid gloves compared to what Trump would do; Joe didn't handle it well; and no amount of tut tutting from the media will stop Trump from using tactics like this. I think they're making a mountain out of a mole hill and I also don't think Castro would be getting any attention if not for it. He probably got what he needed to out of it, which is his name is out there and people might bother to look at the things he said throughout the night (some of it was good).

The problem with you guys is that you think anyone who merely criticizes you (FYI, M4A will never happen in the next 4 years...8 maybe) is that you think we don't know the facts.

I know the facts. Its integral to my day job.

But theres gravity and you can't fight it.

By the time this is over Biden is a gonna have a list of "slip ups" in the same way Trump already has a list of "alternative truths". If the media doesn't cover this, it will obviously be in Biden's favor. Between the slip-ups and forgetfulness, it's a trend that's becoming more difficult to ignore.

And then there's this:
Joe Biden’s 1975 comments slamming slavery reparations, school busing resurfaced by WaPo
Former vice president and potential 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden is defending his record on civil rights after The Washington Post resurfaced a 1975 interview in which the then-senator opposed slavery reparations and school busing.

Mr. Biden told the People Paper, a Delaware-based weekly newspaper, in 1975: “I do not buy the concept, popular in the ‘60s, which said, ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race.’ I don’t buy that.

“I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather,” he continued at the time. “I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”

Talking about Venezuela isn't gonna make anyone forget about that. :usure:

Gladly. Medicare advantage vs Medicare.

Medigap vs. Medicare Advantage: Which Saves You More Money?

How Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage differ | bcbsm.com

Commercial vs Medicare.
Is Medicare’s coverage as good as my employer-sponsored insurance?

Keep the questions coming. I have all day to teach you the actual facts about healthcare today.

You say I’m lying, but literally everything you’re posting is 100% unequivocally wrong. Ppl like u are the ones pushing the false narrative.

So you respond by providing a comparison between current Medicare and the supplemental plans that exist. You seem to be ignoring that the point of the Medicare for all bill is to expand what Medicare currently covers before enrolling everyone into the system. There are gaps in current Medicare coverage but the bill is meant to close those gaps.

As the poster below shows, the private insurance plans mentioned in your link have a history of denying people treatments and they have incentives to do so because they are for profit companies.

Thanks for the info.

Why do the people who think America is greater than other countries also believe we are incapable of doing what those other countries were able to achieve?

People somehow ignore this when the discussion of improving healthcare comes up. We have a huge crappy system that doesn't cover everyone, causes a massive amount of bankruptcies and kills thousands of people a year. We need drastic change as soon as possible.
