Your favorite candidates aside, let's be real for a minute on their chances of winning the election in modern day amerikkka. Remember how shallow the average voter is.

Castro.. has zero chance based on his last name alone.
Kamala..black AND a woman...forget about it
Warren...A woman, and has that hillary clinton look
Beto... looks like a rat faced fukk
Bernie..looking more and more like he escaped a mental ward

Voters consider these things. Honestly the best chance to dethrone the old white CAC is with another old white CAC (Biden) since there are no good young CAC men running.

So you respond by providing a comparison between current Medicare and the supplemental plans that exist. You seem to be ignoring that the point of the Medicare for all bill is to expand what Medicare currently covers before enrolling everyone into the system. There are gaps in current Medicare coverage but the bill is meant to close those gaps.

As the poster below shows, the private insurance plans mentioned in your link have a history of denying people treatments and they have incentives to do so because they are for profit companies.

Thanks for the info.

Why do the people who think America is greater than other countries also believe we are incapable of doing what those other countries were able to achieve?

People somehow ignore this when the discussion of improving healthcare comes up. We have a huge crappy system that doesn't cover everyone, causes a massive amount of bankruptcies and kills thousands of people a year. We need drastic change as soon as possible.

That’s not true tho. It’s not covering the gaps :mindblown:. I literally showed u the workaround on how they won’t pay for everything by having the “medical necessity” clause.

It’s the exact same clause they have now for Medicare.

Genuine question. If they truly planned to pay for everything. Why would they add that “medical necessity” clause to the law? That’s literally where the current gaps are from that clause.

Like wtf do you think that clause is for besides denying payments for procedures that don’t effect a large percentage of the population. If they want to pay for everything, why include that clause? Please answer these questions.

And you were lied to about those other countries and what universal healthcare actually is in those countries. You’re comparing what our system could be to a system that exists literally nowhere.

It’s made up!:why: Bernie purposely keeps it vague for ppl like you who are just lazy and refuse to actually google what canada’s system really is. You’re choosing to stay ignorant because you’re too lazy to take 15 minutes to google.

He says they have universal healthcare. Canada’s universal healthcare is not anything close to Medicare For All. It’s actually closer to our current Medicare system.

It's Biden, Bernie, or Warren...some combo of the three

The rest have no shot, they're only in it because everyone thinks they have a shot at being the next Obama, ie. come through after trailing for half the game and then drop a triple double in the 4th quarter for the win and Finals MVP.....

....AND because by having these different candidates, you can push more progressive policies into the final round next spring/summer

Just listening to Beto from when he was on Morning Joe this morning. He's out of his depth. He should have stuck to attempting to push Texas purple because he gave Ted Cruz a run for his money.

I don't understand this whole being politically correct shyt, it wasn't a big deal to me but to each his own:manny:

So it would be cool for Castro to say Warren was lying about taxes not going up like she was lying about being Native American :mjlol: Because thats the same level of pettiness he was throwing at Joe Biden.

:yeshrug:

Castro just highlighted a slip up.

That’s not what Castro said though. He said Joe forgot and mixed up what he said on stage after a few minutes. He didn’t. He said it correctly. What Castro should have said was his website’s verbiage is inconsistent with his message onstage.

You didn't address the things that are denied under private insurance and why that is okay. As for the points you did make, the reason to say that they would need to say that they are only covering medically necessary things is that there are procedures that are cosmetic or not necessary. As for the limits of the Canadian system, according to some Canadian pundits that have studied the bill, Medicare for all would be better than the Canadian system. With that being the case you can't use the limitations of their system to say that Medicare for all has those same limitations. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt that Medicare for all would be exactly like the Canadian system their system is still better than ours and would save most people money and allow them to be treated without worrying about going bankrupt, which happens to some people here who have insurance.
