Trading the pick is a bad idea and short-sighted
it is...It really is...But if Lebron says I will resign right now for max years max money if you can bring in x player....And we can use the pick to get X player I do it...As long as X player isn't Melo.
Well that's a no brainer. But as is that pick must stay, or else you possibly end up with 3 all-NBA players leaving in the same year with overpaid roleplayers without any picks. Thats literally the scenario you set yourself up for if you trade it
and as a Cavs fan I don't trust Lebron for a damn thing he probally already told the team he wanted out and was gone so I aint trading nothing.

Probably fukk it up...But low key I didn't realize until yesterday when I looked it up we at least placed protections on the draft picks we had just in case Lebron bolted...I thought that we traded our pick outright for Korver and going forward we have all of our 1st.
If we have to blow it all the way up I'd rather have it happen sooner than later meaning as soon as next summer. All hinges on Lebrons ass. He stays we continue to go to the finals he leaves we blow it in place.
Not crazy at all especially if he can grab a few rebounds and place forth effort on defense I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up being a star.
