I used to lift weights, but I switched off that awhile ago and do calisthenics now, basically just working out like I were a boxer.

Jumping rope for 20 mins
Burpees 50 every other day
Pushups 300-400 varying types a day, 100 weighted every other day (weight vest)
Pullups/chinups 100 a day, weighted I do 50 every other day.
Dips 200 a day, 50 weighted every other day
For legs I do squats & lunges with the weight vest + some old dumbbells I have, usually 3 times a week, Monday, Thursday, Saturday for legs.

The equipment I use is - My friend sold me his homemade dip/push up bars, TRX straps, 75lbs weight vest (50lbs + 25lbs pullover) pull up bar some resistance bands. I also have a bicycle for longer cardio, but honestly jumping rope is a great exercise. When I do weighted pushups I use a slower tempo while going down, and I come up quicker for the explosiveness.

My diet is whatever, I can eat whatever I want in moderation, I don't eat breakfast most days and for lunch I generally have a wrap + salad. If I get a burger & fries oneday, the next day I just eat a little lighter. Most days I drink about a gallon of water too, sometimes I fall short but my piss ends up looking like apple cider vinegar and I go right back to it :merchant:

I lost some size switching from weights to body weight, but my body as a whole just feels better, far less injuries as a result and my muscle endurance shot way up.

Is your body fat better than when u lifted weights?

More impressive physique with weights or with calisthenics?

I've lost a bit of weight since I switched, not as bloated looking and generally just more defined, some size went with it but I'm fine with that as I wanted to be a little more slim.

Depends on who the viewer is the type of physique you're trying to build, I'd say it's harder to build muscle with bodyweight training but I already had a base to work with. The best physiques from bodyweight are gymnasts and boxers though, the most boxers will do is deadlifting & squats.

I don't know what the Pelicans can do. Their signings and most of their trades have been awful, and they haven't drafted or developed well, AND have no roster balance for going on at least 2 seasons now. And the injuries...their trash training staff (that is/was shared with the Saints) definitely didn't help.

They are going to lose Cousins most likely and then Davis in a couple of years. Their attendance is already shaky with two top 15 players...

I hope the Bensons sell without conditions that the new ownership has to stay in New Orleans. Let the owners decide if they can turn it around there or if it's best for the franchise to relocate to Seattle or something.
