I dunno how Jrue would be at the 2 as a starter. It'll be interesting to see. I wish Rondo and Davis managed to play together soon. I think they'd be good for each other.

Defense....that team gonna wreck havoc in the back court. Jrue shot 35% from downtown with so much shyt going on off the court with his wife. I'm sure he can improve that easily. He a hard worker anyway

Health is also a huge risk for the Pels. But if they stay healthy, they could be a dark-horse candidate for the 8th playoff spot. Yet that's still contingent on how Boogie (free agent this summer) and Davis manage to play together, how/whether Rondo integrates into the team, how Jrue can adapt to the 2 at full time (and whether his defense could hold up). And their bench is pretty weak. There's too much going on with that team.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just blow it up in the next 2 years.

AD and Cousins had the point differential of a 54 win team when they shared the court together, and that's just them being thrown into games after a huge roster shakeup trade with no offseason to train and gel together. If none of our core players are injured this team is a lock for the playoffs; there's no maybe they're 8th seed/maybe they miss out BS, it's the best frontcourt in the league by a wide margin and one of the top 10 defensive teams as well, no way they don't make it if healthy. Jrue is statistically the best defender at PG according to that SI article ranking the best defensive players, he's the same size as Marcus Smart and won't have any problems at the 2 outside of being a little undersized, which virtually all of the good SGs outside of Derozan are these days.

1st Round Playoff Exits
Rondo has shot over 35% from 3 over the past 3 seasons and over 40% from the corner in that same time

Jrue plays exponentially better at SG when AD and Cousins share the floor
Real easy to tell who has and hasn't actually watched even a second of our team play ball from the hot takes they shyt out every time our team is linked to anyone :russell:
Is this true? :lupe: @Easy-E @SubZeroDegrees

@clutch ????

But, Rondo bout to stress Gentry the hell out :russ:

Only fair since Gentry stresses fans out :pelsuicide:

I don't hate this move :manny:. It's a relatively cheap contract and last year going into the season we had Tim Frazier as the starting PG.

The defense is going to be a beast and there are still moves to make.

:wow: When's the last time you could guarantee a Pelicans/Hornets sqaud wouldn't let the ball stick?
