So we now got an entire roster full of players that can defend yet everyone gonna pretend we won't be able to play D because of (potentially) two players that can be above average when they try. :jbhmm:

Ideally replacing Beverley, Anderson, Dekker & Lou Will with CP3, Melo, Tucker & Mbah Moute. Losing Pat hurts but that's still a huge improvement both offensively & defensively.

Not sure how we got this dude on a minimum but I'll take it.

How the hell is Jamychal Green still on the market??? Especially when Memphis isn't even able to match anything above ~10m per??? A 4/5 that is athletic, can shoot, rebound, and defend multiple positions can't get paid? There's gotta be something going on

is it me or does signing PJ and Luc make Ariza more expendable. I am sure Knicks are not looking for Ryan Anderson in return, maybe they might move Ariza or Gordon now
I seriously doubt it. Can't lose two valuable players just to bring Melo in especially with the roster Golden State have built.

that's just it. They can match it. They're just gonna pay tax. Unfortunately for Green (and other RFA's like him), that money ran out quick. Being an RFA hurts because teams can't give you what they think you worth. They have to pay you more, which discourages teams. If he was renounced, especially earlier, someone woulda paid him big bucks by now.

I know anything can happen re: injuries and stuff, but players gotta start betting on themselves more and take that QO if fielding free agent offers interests them.
