They're wrong. Jaylen was the deal breaker for Porzingis
Lakers brehs: how do you feel about getting Brook Lopez? I know dude's an all-star center but my two main gripes about him have been: 1. he's obviously injury prone and 2. he seems allergic to rebounding despite being 7ft.
He's obviously an upgrade for your frontcourt scoring.

I heard he's good at boxing out so at least he can help out in that way.
I also think he'll be great for Lonzo's development as a playmaker as he's a legit scoring big. He's an alright 1 year rental.

I know he's gonna be a bench player if you get Hayward and George.
I know logically at that point his value would be hurt even more, because he'd be 24 and still coming off the bench while seeking a max extension by the time those guys are just 30....and at that point you'll be saying he doesn't deserve it because he's just a bench player

the #3 pick that was spent on him had more value than he does as a current NBA player.
Speaking strictly for myself I value him more now than I did a year ago, but I certainly don't think he's proven enough to be considered untradeable like Ainge believes

Jaylen Brown and Joshua Jackson are pegged as wings with superstar potential.
You would have taken Simmons over him if you got the first pick, so go somewhere with that other shyt.

Just because we have a potential logjam doesn't mean we should just give players away
