Teague, Wiggins, and Butler have all shot at least 35% from 3 before. So its not that dire. Also who gives a fukk about 3-point shooting. Their biggest problem last year was DEFENSE. It wasn't scoring the ball. They will be one of the best offensive teams in the NBA next year. The question is will they play defense.

And to play defense they need to get a legitimate rim protecting center. Towns is not a center. He's a PF.

Wolves need someone like JaVale McGee who they can build their defense around.

JaVale McGee is one of the most talented big men in the NBA (if properly motivated). He gave the Warriors valuable PT when they actually played him.

Even if he only plays 10 minutes a game, that's 10 minutes he can help the Wolves biggest weakness.

They're also looking at Ekpe Udoh who was a really good shot blocker when he was in the league.

Wolves just need a legit center who can protect the rim. That will allow them to move Towns to PF where he will be better.
