Just take a look at the kind of justice Trump is looking to nominate.[1] There's also his list of potential nominees that's taken straight from the Heritage Foundation.[2] He's also on record saying he will appoint justices committed to overturning the marriage equality ruling. Wrt Trump and his pretend-to-be anti-establishment and anti-free trade ways - just ask yourself this: why would a guy who makes money from foreign labor be against free trade? If he was against free trade and wanted to really bring jobs back to America - why doesn't he bring those manufacturing jobs home from Mexico? Why is his VP pick an establishment stooge that not only supports TPP but also voted for the war in Iraq and is staunchly anti-lgbtq? What are you going to say when he stacks his cabinet with establishment republicans? Trump is a fraud and a con man.

I'll bite since you are fundamentally wrong and dumb. Your first mistake is calling Trump a republican. He's a populist with extreme nationalism. So scratch that. And republicans basically mentioned everything you attribute first to Trump already. Now he's the first prominent figure running on a republican ticket to endorse gay rights. But his running mate is Pence, a fool who just last year passed an act that basically allowed discrimination makes that null.

I think every poll in a head by head matchup had Bernie winning against Trump by a much bigger margin than her. You're underestimating the fact that Trump and Bernie were directly talking to people about the causes of something they saw change for the worst after deals supported by the Clintons. This is the problem. People can warm back up to Warren, but not being Trump isn't enough to get people to like her enough to show up.

Bernie's campaign manager was on CNN last week and he was asked who do you guys want Hillary to pick, somebody like warren and he almost let it slipped and said yes but he pulled back and gave a PC answer.

Bernie and his base are watching closely. Bernie's speech can end up being anit-trump and pro Hillary versus just anti trump which will happen if she picks kaine.

Sure it will be historic with a two women ticket, but Hillary is so vindictive that she doesn't want another woman stealing her shine and warren's personality is too big. Also I'm sure bill has a lot of influence over who is picked as well behind the scenes.

You hit the nail on the head, they're hoping trump will just continue to self destruct but this is about getting the turnout high and warren will fire up the base. I just feel some type of bombshell will come out with kaine and Hillary will be blamed for another poor decision that may cost her big time.
