I thought it was closer. Hillary would have to just completely fukk up to lose this.
U can win a election by 200 electoral votes but if u win every state by 1 or 2 points I would call it a close race.

They favored her over both Obama and Bernie.
There's no bigger Hillary state outside of New York than Pennsylvania.
I thought it was a typical trump speech. He trolled and bullied his way through the primaries but its a new arena in the general and fear mongering won't win him the election, frankly I believe trump doesn't really care if he wins. He has always been a polarizing attention whore who doesn't have to play by politician rules because he says he's not a real politician.
I find it ironic that a man that was born a millionaire was able to troll and reach the most rabid base of the party who are poor and struggling just as well as certain minorities and to get them to vote for him. We all underestimated trump so I'll give him that.
If Hillary was smart she'll go with warren as her vp. Something tells me that Kaine has skeletons in his closet plus I don't think he is as "safe" as some suggests. Also it's a pick that the sanders supporters will not approve of because it will be typical Hillary saying one thing but doing another.

Wrt Trump and his pretend-to-be anti-establishment and anti-free trade ways - just ask yourself this: why would a guy who makes money from foreign labor be against free trade? If he was against free trade and wanted to really bring jobs back to America - why doesn't he bring those manufacturing jobs home from Mexico? Why is his VP pick an establishment stooge that not only supports TPP but also voted for the war in Iraq and is staunchly anti-lgbtq? What are you going to say when he stacks his cabinet with establishment republicans? Trump is a fraud and a con man.You don't know that. You're assuming it because it doesn't fit your narrative of Donald Trump as Hitler. You're more willing to accept that Hillary Clinton, who has actually proven to be an establishment lackey for over 25 years, is more anti-establishment than first time politician Donald Trump. You're more willing to accept that Hillary Clinton, who has actually supported these free trade deals like NAFTA and TPP, is more anti-free trade than Donald Trump, who has been railing against NAFTA for 20 years and has never supported TPP.

I think every poll in a head by head matchup had Bernie winning against Trump by a much bigger margin than her. You're underestimating the fact that Trump and Bernie were directly talking to people about the causes of something they saw change for the worst after deals supported by the Clintons. The cockiness is asking for a Brexit type scenario. It's also arrogant as fukk for her to think it's a lock especially in an election year of monumental importance and unpredictability.
He just told the whole country I'm going to reduce taxes and increase spending to unseen levels! And they clapped for him
the white middle class is so disgusted with realization that they are just another group in this country and not "The Group" that they willingly rolled over and forgot all the small government rhetoric they spewed for the last 8 years. 
This was truly special to watch. We just watched middle America whore itself as a result of their own insecurities.
