After giving it a few through listens, dude rapping isn't too bad.....he does get overshadowed by the instrumentals (which I love). There were a handful of songs......where I though "this is what Mos Defs Black Jack Johnson Project should have been".....the track "Frangipani"....the singing is reminiscent of some of way Mos sang "Umi Says"

Gave it a full listen today. I agree that his rapping isn't bad, however it reminds me a lot of the generic underground rappers of the 90's/00's in the sense that he is technically sound but does not possess the 'it' factor to make him great

The instrumentals are amazing. Any Tame Impala fan will instantly love them. I love the jazziness too.

Every song is good, but no songs are great

A solid album, can't wait to give it a few more spins.
