Oakfor looks good offensively damn he has made potential. His game reminds me of Tim Duncan slow offensively good but Duncan seem like the better rebounder in early years

duncan was 7" tall. okafor is 6'9". HUGE DIFFERENCE. plus Duncan didn't get fat till he was old.

Being a great passer doesn't make you a PG just like being a great shooter doesn't make you a SG. No need to jam dude into a position he only played out of necessity in college.
He can play either breh and he's gonna be in the pg role more often than not.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
you really impressed by a 6'9" dude plodding up and down the court. zero elevation. no defensive precense. i gotta say he's got all the hallmarks of a dude who'll put up good stats on a bad team. he's not gonna be a difference maker that gets you Ws.

knowing philadelphia, they might actually like that. helps them tank another year.

:dead: When you thought he'd be a Laker.......

al jefferson is 6'9.75" in shoes with a 7'2.5" wingspan. okafor is 6'11" in shoes with a 7'5" wingspan. taller + more length = much better.

body-wise Okafor is more like Cousins in terms of height and length than Big Al.

folks will say this is a coach defending his player but i agree with everything he said. Okafor will not be a top 5 shot blocker, but he can be an adequate to good team defender. I've seen him move his feet well on the perimeter. I saw him guard Mudiay on a switch effectively in the Hoops Summit last year. He's 6'11" and has a 7'5" wingspan. He will NOT be a liability defensively.

and his sublime post skills guarantee that he'll be a career 20ppg guy. i'd take him #2 with no hesitation. in some ways he could end up better than Towns given the fact he has one skill that he's aguably gonna be the best in the nba at.

Plenty of guys play multiple roles in college when they excel above their peers and are versatile players. Forcing a guy into a position that he's "supposed to play" instead of what's natural will get you a Lavine or Oladipo situation. Just a year of wasted development.

It's not a force he's a guard.

You're trolling and not even good at it.

Russell playing a role he's forced to? :mjlol:

I'm sure he's devastated playing the 1.
