Definitely not a sound that fits my tastes but I aint gonna lie, this is kind of intriguing and I'm gonna give it some more spins. Haxan Cloak really knows how to make some dark, heavy shyt and he has definitely succeeded here.

OK, so every time I listen to this album I say to myself "I shouldn't like this. This sounds awful".....but then as soon as I'm finished I want to play it again

So I guess this means that I actually really like the album. The hallmark of a great album to me is when my brain subconsciously is begging me to listen to it, no matter what my critical thoughts are on it.

Second half of track 2 and track 4 are where Haxan Cloak's production really shines. Tracks 4-6 are awesome.

The new Liars album is fantastic, as usual. One of the most interesting bands around.

New Black Lips is pretty so-so. I'm a huge fan of them but getting Patrick Carney to produce just didnt fit at all.

Not sure whats up with Faris's voice on the new Horrors album, something about it sounds off

I love the music but the unfortunately its unlistenable with that dude shout rap talking over it. New song would be bananas even if Kidz Bop sung over it, yet somehow it winds up bad.

But then again that sugary pop shyt always moves me
