Not sure if they fit here or not but I'm a really big Passion Pit fan been looking to get into some more music like them. Anyone have some suggestions? I am very bad with putting certain music into a genre.

Yes, Passion Pit would fit here. They are an Indie Pop band, which is basically today's Alternative Rock
I'm not big on Passion Pit, can you name a few particular songs that you really like and I will try and give you some stuff that sounds similar

That Black Keys song is fukking terrible.
Danger Mouse fell off. Last great thing he did was Demon Days. I feel like people turn to him to get that really wide appeal pop sound that you'll hear forever as background music in shops and on tv shows on The CW
