LOL, I know. I can't stand her racist ass.

SMH @ Dallas own Jeremy Wariner

He had a nice run but he's :flabbynsick: now. My sister went to HS with him. I remember thinking :duck: when she was telling me about some white boy that was the best 400m runner in the state

I werent shyttin on him, but the Mens American 400ms is so stacked, he never had a chance tbh. If it was other events then yeah but the 400m nah.

Excuses, he should get use to it, thats what the rounds in the major competitions are all about. Lane 1 is more of a mental barroer than lane 8 is. Lane 8 you can run your own race, Lane 1 because of the sharp bends and lack of space you have, also when you see everyone infront of you, you can get caught out in tryin to catch people.

Oh, it was a long one, I know, if the variables swung in his way, he would have been thereabouts. It was more hope than anything else.

Lane 1 =/= Lane 8; 1a 1b - you can't gauge the pace of the race from the outside (disadvantage in strategizing), at all, and you have basically zero slingshot-aid from the curves as well, the mental-act of trying to play catch up in lane 1; vice-versa with no awareness of position in lane 8.

:comeon:

The people under 20 Now

Luguelín Santos 44.45
Kirani James 44.72 - Who only happens to be the Men 400m World Champion
Deon Lendore 45.13

Now the US 20 year olds

Michael Berry 44.75
Joshua Mance 44.83 & 44.99 and he aint even been 20 for 6 months yet

I got carried away and didn't read your statement properly. I was talk'n bout the next groupings of HS-age (juniors) that were coming through. Hence, Santos is the only one ranked ahead of him.

You know how many fast promisin youngsters I've seen over the years who beasted at junior level and never amounted to shyt when they stepped up against the worlds elite, alot. So many flash in the pans start off great after a couple of seasons they either injury prone or just not lived up to hype

I never said it wasnt for him, just sayin what you wanted for him now, was unrealistic.

This country's always gonna' have a problem with FITP types when football is America's mise-en-scene, a ball park figure of 80% of those cases stem from football. Injuries, not living up to the hype, outside-influence, etc etc. Difference being, Bailey doesn't fall into that category - he hasn't played since the sixth grade. He's already got that distinct advantage weighing heavily in his long-term favor.

He's about the closest thing to the FUTURE that this country has, right now.
