He was a chance of being an alternate for the 4x400. shyt he was racing against grown mens - can't a brother have hope anymore?

He would've made it into the final if he didn't have the mental barrier of lane 8, TWICE in a row. Hart wanted him to trial as a learning curve for next month.

What'chu talking about, that he ain't the best junior in the country? He's #1 in the US and #2 in the world; just turned 18, nikka still got two seasons left.

He's got the National record + 6th fastest time in high-school history (fastest in the last 17 years) - had he not eased up in the ending-stages he would've broken Jerome Young's record EASILY and he would've been #2 all time (#1 all time electronic).

Bailey ran 45.19 seconds to better the National Federation (high school-only competition) record of 45.25 set by Calvin Harrison in 1993. However, his time ranks No. 6 all-time among preps, according to Jack Shepard's High School Track, trailing Darrell Robinson's 1982 record of 44.69, Jerome Young's 45.01 (1995), Henry Thomas' 45.09 (1985), Obea Moore's 45.14 (1995) and William Reed's 45.17 (1987).

"The clock said 44.9, so I thought I did it," he said. "Then 45.1 popped up. I mean, I was happy because it was a [personal record], and it was a national record, and everyone was going crazy. But if I wouldn't have slowed down, we're talking a 45 flat or a 44.9. So yeah, that's a bad habit."

Sky's the ceiling for him. Duke's got more potential than Warnier and Merritt. He gonna' catch wind at the next Olympics.

they reviewed the 100 finals, and changed the 3rd place finish so felix and the other girl are ruled a dead heat. they haven't decided how they are gonna break the tie yet tho
