Big tent indie is pretty much dead. All those bands are beginning to look

The Walkmen released a good album though. Ariel Pink was decent. Oh yeah......Liars was crazy. Pretty much their Kid A/Amnesiac. That would be my #1 indie release of the year.

Best electronic ish I heard this year is by far the Burial EP. But I've hardly heard any electronic music this year. I'd also recommend the Actress album, and if you're into weirder shyt Jam City's album.

I've been fukking with a lot of garage rock this year.

New Raveonettes is snooze status, which is sad since I really liked their last album. She owns the streets is great tho.

The 3 tracks I've heard from that Bat for Lashes have been excellent

Need to get through my cache, because that Gaslamp Killer album was pretty damn great on first listen. Need to see if Until the Quiet Comes stacks up.

Holy Other's LP was pretty good too, but it felt really short. Like over if you stop paying attention once short.

Need to give both another good listen or 4.
