I was going to review these songs, but it would have been uninteresting, since it would have consisted of a bunch of backstory, then me saying that they were both pretty good songs

might be random even though they got a new album out but........
i hate Hot Chip son.. can't stand the main singers voice and i've always felt like their whole shyt seemed like it probably started off a parody and they ended up well liked and haven't looked back.
glad he/they announced a new album... hope Beach Fossils do aswell.
they both dropped singles earlier this year but didn't announce any details of albums until Wild Nothing's now.

This DIIV album is a solid listen.
There aren't a lot of songs that stand out as being great, but it's consistent throughout.

I'll say what I said when I dropped the link in here: "Two Weeks" was good, Vecktamiest was boring as hell.
Just because they have another good song doesn't mean that they won't drop another boring album.
As for Tame Impala, they said that SOMETHING will drop this month, new single in August, new album in October. Not that I really care about Tame Impala, but I'll drop whatever I find when things start leaking.
