Well I can understand that. But most teams are in the mold where Dallas and Green Bay are at. Even Washington is in that mold.
I have no idea about talks between them, but I remember there being articles/speculation and some discussion in this thread about it.

That speculation came from people outside the organization. Not within. Dallas had no intention to ever bring him to even try out.
Still seemed relevant, we got about a page worth of comments from that post.
I stand by my decision
that came from the tmz video of him walking out of a club saying he wants to come dallas.
