Its really not the defense that was the problem this season. Its the offense. The Patriots game was the only game where the Cowboys defense got handle. If you can't score in the NFL, you're not gonna win many games. That Bucs game said a lot about the state of the Cowboys offense.

Let's be real, the Cowboys had too many significant injuries to overcome this season.

Bring back a healthy defense next season and go from there. The LB position needs to be addressed cuz Sean Lee is too concussion prone. Trade maybe a 2nd rounder to get Murray back. Trade Leary for 2nd rounder. You may laugh but there is a lot of teams that need Olinemen desperately. Draft a QB and sit him under Room for a couple of seasons for development.

Both parties need each other. He got his upfront money but the Chip Kelly system don't fit his running style. The Cowboys thought Randle was the answer and anybody can run behind that line and they were clearly wrong.

Most of those names are on the defense and yet the defense is the best unit of our team. Plus, it took a historic year from Murray and Romo and Dez playing out of his mind as long as the best O line in football to even have a winning season. The offense isn't getting the coaching it needs.

But that game was close for a long while until it got out of hand, the defense sacked Brady 5 times but the offense almost had a record high in consecutive 3 & outs.

Listen I agree. To me Garrett is the worst coach in the league hands down. Bill Parcells took a team with Quincy Carter at QB and a to the playoffs, so Garrett has no excuse.

However, there are problems with this team than no romo and bad coaching. Ive said it before, Marinelli had a top 3 defense in Chicago the year before he came here and led the league in takeaways. Scott Linehan has OC of the of several top 10 offebses and was the OC when Megatron broke the single season yardage record.

This team needs a new GM, HC and more talent.
