There is not ONE other team that scored 6 or less points this week. We were the lowest scoring team today. The Cleveland Browns scored 9, so even they would have beat us today. The defense gave the offense TWO turnovers and the offense did nothing with it. The defense stopped the bucs SEVERAL times, but it wasn't until the end of the game where the bucs got excellent field position that they scored. Some are expecting pure fantasy-land defensive performances. We were the lowest scoring team today period and that is after 2 turnovers. What defensive coordinator out there regularly holds team to less than 10 points? We only put up two field goals against one of the worst defenses in the league and yet the defense is still to blame, even after getting 2 turnovers, which the offense did NOTHING with both.

You can blame the defense for last game against Philly, but they are absolutely not at fault for this game. The Romo excuse is getting old. They still have essentially 4 first rounders on the O-line, Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and even Darren McFadden who was having one of the best stretches among runningbacks in the past few games.

This is all true, however, its the same story with this defense week in/out, even with Romo. How do you consistently shut down the other team for 56 minutes of the game, then continuosly shyt the bed the last four minutes? 1 play is all we need, and these fools cant even do that.

The problem with this team is that our Philosophy is to stict to the script and execute the game plan. We rely solely on execution rather than outscheming the other team, and that is why we cant win without Romo. With Romo in the game, he improvises and makes something out of nothing when these bullshyt playcalls arent working. Cassell cant do that. Other teams adjust as the game goes along and we dont, we stick to the original gameplan.

There wouldn't have been any need for the defense to make a "last drive" stop if the offense could score more than 6 points. When your offense keeps giving the ball back to the other team it creates constant "last drive" opportunities for the other team. After the second pick our offense got the ball back with 5 something left... you gotta end the game right there, or at least wear down enough clock so that Tampa barely has any time left.

Denver is giving up the lowest PPG in the league at 17.4.. our D has given up 13 or less in two of the last three games and lost BOTH. That is damn near impossible. No way they get the blame.

I haven't read through everyone's thoughts yet but I did see some back and forth on rather this game was on the defense or the offense.

Well fellas, this game is on the coaching. This season has been on the coaching. Week in and out, we're coached to play to the level of the competition. If the Saints wanna score 30, let's score 30 with them. The Bucs wanna score 3, we can play that game too. NAh, fucc outta here with these trash ass game plans. Running with 9 men in the box, like serious :heh:

Anyway. Ro is back. Patman should be getting more playing time. Claiborne was so ass today. Pass rush ain't there.

Keep the other team out the end zone on that last drive and we win the game plain and simple. Whos to say if our offense did score more points that Tampa wouldnt adjust their playcalling ?

It's not really conceivable in todays NFL to think a team can stop another team from scoring a touchdown all game...especially when you repeatedly let them start at damn near mid field like we did...

If you knew the cowboys were only going to give up 10 points before the game started...would you be okay with that or would you say "well do 7 of them come in last two minutes of the game"?

The other team held us out the end zone all game :heh:

I guarantee bucs fans would blame the defense if somehow Dez caught that ball in the end zone and we won the game. Unlike our D, theirs made a play when it mattered and won the dam game :shaq2:
