What could Romo have done today? If receivers can't get open no QB will have success, our defense looked much better today but if the offense keeps going 3 and out then any D will get exhausted. I knew we had no chance when the score was 3-3 and the coaching staff had no sense of urgency. Imagine if the O could've gotten 2 scoring drives in the 1st half, we might still lose but it probably would've been a 17-24 loss. All the people saying the season is over need to go ahead and stop posting then, since in your mind it's already been decided. Team hits a bad streak and y'all switch up to Rangers avis:martin:
Cmon breh, you know better than that. Just the threat of Romo throwing downfield wouldve opened our run game and not turned us one dimensional.

There has to be a free agent WR out there better than Street, dude brings nothing and can't get open.

how'd that work out the 1st 2 games bruh:sas2: Dez at least makes defenses respect the passing game, that in turn will free up the running game and the other WRs. You can throw it downfield all you want to, but if no one is open then it doesn't matter.
just cuz some of us think the season is over dont mean we dont support the team we just looking at reality of the situation simple as that

i aint blind enough to think all of a sudden we gonna just wait till they come back and be able to win the division or wildcard
i dont like to rely on other teams to get the job done

our play calling and back up qb situation is :trash:

our defense will get worn the fukk out if we dont have offense sustain drives and that is for any team period

this isn't a bad streak its a team hit with major injuries thats all

granted we got key players back on defense except gregory yet and we know scan is out for the season

on the offense side wtf we gonna do with the way shyt is going we run the ball average at best but then like dumbass we abandon it and have weeden throw dink passes with receivers who dont get yards after the catch or cant even catch the damn ball or a qb that can see shyt right in front of him and still throws it or a qb with horrible awareness around him

even if we got dez we saw what happened last season with weeden their it wont get much better to be honest

imo if we keep weeden like this we need to have michaels run with more carries as our murrary light then have randle come in as change of pace back

if dez is back then we use him for the dink passes that then would open up the other receivers more to where weeden even with his shytty deep ball accuracy can get away with it on one on one with certain receivers
Just because he & Dez looked bad in 1 game doesn't mean they couldn't develop the chemistry they had at OSU.

We need a QB who can throw for more than 5 yards down the field on a consistent basis. We're not winning any games with Weeden constantly dumping the ball off to the runningback.

more like accurate and see the field properly if anything
dump the ball is not always on weeden tho its the play calling also

The play-calling is such because they don't trust Weeden to throw the rock. Teams have figured the Weeden led offense out. We got lucky when Randle was getting these massive gains and scoring touchdowns and Witten was shredding the field, but now teams have taken those two guys away. They are making us play to Weeden's weakness, which is going down the field. Until we go down the field, we're going to keep losing games. It's too bad we have to watch this awful offense when the defense looks like they are starting to come together.

Cut weeden, start Cassel and run the ball 40 times

Whats the point of throwing? our running backs get all the catches

:russ:At Mike Fisher calling Beasley "Mini Dez" during training camp. Dez makes life so much easier for everyone when he's on the field.

I think even if the receivers could get open down the field, we'd never know, because Weeden would already have dumped the ball off for one yard to Joseph Randle. We got lucky in the earlier games that teams weren't expecting that and Randle would get like 10 to 15 a carry, but teams have to footage and they know we're going to do it and yet not a single adjustment. If you have a qb that you can't make adjustments with, he shouldn't be on the field. Weeden is a backup, but so was Kitna, who won 5 games. We need to see what Cassell has. At worst all he can do is keep the losing streak alive.

C. Michael needs to get out on the field too. We found a winning formula last year, but offensively, we went away with it. We're not going to win games with J. Randle getting most of the carries. He's a home run hitter, but he doesn't push opposing defenses back constantly like Murray did. What made Murray great wasn't that he would get 15 yards on a carry. It's that he would constantly convert 3rd downs and we would stay on the field.
