4 weeks brehs
Let's hope the league isn't injury-riddled like last so everything can be dope as fukk and titans can collide at full strength
East
1. Cavaliers, 62-20. Not having Kyrie for a month will cost a couple games but they're still good for 60 plus and still the favorites out the East. I think Love eats well this season.
2. Bulls, 56-26. New coach Hoiberg is offensive minded right? I think it'll be refreshing for them and will carry them for stretches/games Rose ain't playing *knock on wood* I think Rose plays 65-70 games backs to backs and/or trash teams he sits.
3. Heat, 53-29. Da squad
some nikkas think we a .500 team but nope we better than that
Bosh back, McBob getting his Boris on, Justise a good sixth man/utility player and Wade there to teach him. Not a lot of shooters though and gotta work hard on defense but I see a Cavs - Heat ECF.
4. Hawks, 50-32. Lost their best defender/glue guy and teams like the Heat and Cavs getting better chemistry knocks them down from that 1 seed last year.
5. Wizards, 48-34. Same as Hawks pretty much.
6. Raptors, 45-37. Switchable with Wizards.
7. Bucks, 43-39. Got a lot of talent and length, Kidd has proven to be able to run a team I don't see them not getting in.
8. Celtics, 41-41. Brad Stevens too smart and got too many pieces to not get in.
Cusp teams, Pistons (really wanted to say them at 8), Magic, Pacers, Knicks.
West
1. Spurs, 66-16. Added a top 3 PF to an already complete team. Assuming the stay healthy, I would have them winning more than this but they play 50 games in the West.
2. Thunder, 63-19. Durant, if that foot is 100%, probably has a chip on his shoulder. I wanna see how Donovan manages this situation though, new coach, two top 10/top 5 players, one of them in his final contract year.
3. Warriors, 60-22. Team stayed intact minus Lee, but SAS and OKC getting better stifles the same total. Should see the Thunder in round 2, that can go either way but I don't see them beating the Spurs. Possible though.
4. Clippers, 58-24. Added Pierce who can give his all for 20-25 minutes, Smith and Stephenson should be valuable I can see Doc leading them right. Have the talent to knock out the Spurs but still not putting money on it.
5. Rockets, 57-25. As much as I don't like Harden's game, nikka be balling as their alpha dog. SAS, OKC, and LAC improved though, and I'm not sure Lawson and Harden will be an ideal pairing as both NEED the ball in there hands.
6. Grizzlies, 54-28. Retained Gasol, solid like always but not getting over that hump.
7. Pelicans, 51-31. Davis getting better, Jrue and Reke right there, 51 wins in the West but not beating OKC.
8. Kings, 48-34. DMC leads them to a playoff berth, Rondo will come back from the dead (to an extent).
Cusp teams; Mavericks, Jazz will like half a game within each other, Mavs was my 8th seed but they lose Ellis on offense and Chandler on defense, D-Will aint patching up those holes, Suns and Lakers after them, Suns team constructed funny and Lakers will be respectable but not a playoff team out West.
What y'all think brehs?
Edit: since 4 60 win teams ain't happening;
Cavs 58 wins
Spurs and OKC stays above it, probably 62 and 60
Warriors win 58 but hold tiebreaker over Clippers
