I really wonder why police don't shoot below the waist. Poor kid was probably turning around to say it's fake and got killed. I can understand if he had his finger on the trigger when he turned around and it was pointing at them.

That warning shot shyt or shooting below the waist isn't realistic. When po pos or anybody is shootin at u any bullet fired can be fatal

These essays out here are mad as shyt at the cops for shootin this kid. I feel bad for the kid and his family. But I'm gonna have to be fair and reasonable and ride with the po pos on this one.

The fake gun looked real as hell. And lets not act like we don't have teens runnin around catchin bodies (shootin up schools and shyt) Lil man had a real ass lookin choppa, it looked real to me. If someone were to pull that gun that kid had on me, I would assume that it was real, If I had a pistol, fukk a warnin shot I'm blastin :manny:

Anybody who has seen or heard one of them bytches go off would know they are not to be fukked with. I could understand him thinking it's cool to walk around with that shyt if he was like in the midwest or some shyt but not California. 13 or not

With that said though, I never believe police statements either.

If the gun looks as realistic as everyone else is saying and he had it in his hand, and he turned towards them like I saw in someone's post.....then :yeshrug:

It's unfortunate that he lost his life, but at some point you have to lay SOME blame on him. Even the most "fukk the police" ass nikka on here has to admit that a teen carrying around a realistic-looking assault rifle in his hand in public is just asking to cause some sort of trouble.....at that age, your ass should know exactly how people are gonna think/react when they see you walking around with some shyt that looks real. Then to not immediately drop the weapon as soon as the cops approach you and tell you to.....:snoop:

We JUST had a 14-year-old murk a teacher, so let's not act like some of these kids can't/won't kill. It's possible. It's reality. Can't blame the cops for being scared that he might have shot them (assuming their version of the story is accurate)

You already have nikkas in here saying "they should have tried talking to him first"......be real. You see a bold-ass teen walking around in public with what appeared to be a gun; you gonna approach him? You gonna try to just "talk to him"? :comeon: Or are you gonna carry your ass the hell away because you know what he's capable of doing? :heh:

The only thing the cops needed to do was take out their own guns, aim and tell him to drop his weapon, which they apparently did. If he didn't drop it after that, and even worse, turned toward them while still holding it......:manny:

Because the upper torso presents the largest, most stationary target area of a human body.

All firing range targets are basically upper torso silhouettes.

Real life ain't like the movies. When guns go off they are loud. When someone else's gun goes off and your in the vicinity you hear the pop and there's usually a split second before the fukkery kicks in (screaming, running, panicking). It depends where your at in the burbs your like "firecracker? Blown tire? Balloon? Hammer?" then gun. In the hood you think gun prolly second or third but there's cues...Granted a shot to the knee or shin will likely drop anybody if you have your finger on the trigger and get hit you can clench up and shoot yourself, or back at the cops (:whoa: big mistake) or innocent bystanders

The Midwest? Where like Colorado where they had columbine and the aurora shooting? Or Omaha where they had the mall shooting? Chicago? Where exactly in the Midwest is that cool at?

Misspoke maybe. Midwest or the south or wherever parents let their kids have guns at young ages and where it's not really uncommon to see.

Its a sad situation and I can understand why a police officer would think it was real but yall need to ease up on criticizing the kid. A 13 year old child does not have the same judgement as a grown man. As adults we can rationally determine that it isnt wise to walk around with a toy gun that looks real. At 13 he naively thought everyone would know it was a toy. We have all done things as children that we wouldnt do as adults, unfortunately it cost this kid his life. In this situation all we can do is show EMPATHY for both parties and leave it at that.

Kids are shooting other kids at school these days. You can't take chances with shyt. This is 2013, hell you been at the past 2-3 years?

i feel bad for the kid but fukk is you doing walking the streets with fake assault weapons? basically suicide
Remember the kid is only 13...that's very young. I wouldn't be surprised if he spent more time playing videos games than watching the news. So he may not have been aware of how incredible incompetent and stupid most police officers are.

EDIT: I alsmot forgot...:pacspit: FUCCK THE POLICE!!!

The difference here is they aren't expressing sympathy for a slain criminal.
They're expressing concern over the murder of a damned 13 year old.
There's a world of difference there which you don't seem to get :mindblown:

With that said this is terrible to hear.
I still remember the day my mom's told me to keep my
BB Gun's in the house.
:wow: These cops in Cali do not play :wow:

Get the fukk out of here with that bullshyt. This young man was walking around with a realistic replica of an ASSAULT WEAPON. If you are a cop or even a regular citizen you don't know if that weapon is real or not. You don't know what his mind state is in this day and age.

And you emotional, liberal weaklings are sitting here telling me they should have walked up to him casually and said "hey lil buddy is that a real AK? ".....in this day and age where the criminals are getting younger and more sadistic? As far as i'm concerned for that young man think it was appealing to carry an assault weapon in public showed he had a mind state that made him a public safety danger or a potential danger later on in his development. No harm, no foul committed on the play.
