How many years did they have to prepare for this again?...
Well, now, because of Obamacare, my wife's rate is gong to $302 per month and mine is jumping to $284.
I am canceling insurance for us and I am not paying any fukking penalty. What the hell kind of reform is this?
“Healthcare.gov was initially going to include an option to browse before registering,” report Christopher Weaver and Louise Radnofsky in the Wall Street Journal. “But that tool was delayed, people familiar with the situation said.” Why was it delayed? “An HHS spokeswoman said the agency wanted to ensure that users were aware of their eligibility for subsidies that could help pay for coverage, before they started seeing the prices of policies.” (Emphasis added.)
most everybody i know, self included has their insurance through their work so I only know 2 people who have tried very early on and decided they'd wait till the site was operating a little smoother, it's not like the deadline is tomorrow. And it does matter if there are different prices for different people in different states. It would be silly to give unimportant information, beyond silly actually it'd be counter productive. WHY give out unspecific information?I have health insurance too that doesn't change the fact that you have to get O-Care in the near future. My point makes perfect sense....you are claiming the traffic of millions being the reason it's blocked up, then there should be someone you know or I know that has it. So far no one I know has it or can get on. So you must know someone. Btw....it doesn't matter on if there is different prices for different people....I haven't seen a price or package period.

Thank youYou don't need "hackers" to DDOS attack a website.
You just need to send ton of traffic there to the point the
website is crippled.
Something that would be relatively easy for a couple billionaires
to pull off.
Not necessarily saying that THEY are doing it, just saying
it's not that difficult.
So if i never meet anyone who needs to sign up what then does it cease to exist? Your argument is lazy at best.I'll wait to you find someone who has been on and got their estimate.

I don't know how many people are successfully signing up, nor have I ever said I did. Now I did make an assumption that there were a lot of people TRYING TO sign up. From the article we posted we can see that it's 14.6 million unique visits, which TBH I'm not savy enough to know if that's an large difficult amount to handle given the process the site is trying to accomplish AND given the FAILURES (IMHO) of some of the design. What is lazy is beating around the bush about how many people you claimed are on the site signing up. We know it's less than you think.

Obama has to be kind of quietly thanking the Republicans cause if not for the shutdown this would have been the biggest news for days
they had a while to get ready for this and problems are expected but it seems a bit too much
