You don't need "hackers" to DDOS attack a website.
You just need to send ton of traffic there to the point the
website is crippled.
Something that would be relatively easy for a couple billionaires
to pull off.
Not necessarily saying that THEY are doing it, just saying
it's not that difficult.

It's not "positive" traffic, though; it would be tons of manufactured targeted traffic meant to down the site. Doesn't require expert hackers or I don't think even attackers to really browse the site. Anon does this all the time to pro-"bad guy" sites.

Thank you. lol.

This might be the saddest thing I've seen posted here. The delusion necessary to type that first sentence is amazing, bordering on the most severe tin foil post we have seen around these parts.

My goodness.

my bytch told me last night that they tried getting the total number of ppl registered and that since it's federal they could get the number of people from the states. so she asked me to guess the total. i said 3 million. she said no less. 2 million. less. 500,000 less.
so i gave up cause i really don't give a fuq. she said the number is 200,000

They want to draw blood before they ever let you browse it. Tricky. But at least you can find it, I had to google the coli to find the new '-' address. Nice. :comeon:

After reading a little more in what is entailed in registering and such um...yeah this is about par for something of thins magnitude. They are validating people's information across several databases and they are doing that to MILLIONS of people all at once. SOmeone suggested they do "enroll times" based on social security, IMHO that's not a bad idea. The site isn't broken, per say, it functions, it's just hard to design ANYTHING to handle that much validation/cross database work at this magnitude. That being said the architecture of the system does lead much to be desired and could have been handled a lot better. Last i read when you hit "APPLY" something like 92 files get shot from your computer to the server, multiply that by millions and you end up fuking yourself. SOmethign tells me they are doing a lot of cross database query and validation too so that's going to screw you as well. So YES the site does work, BUT is chalk full of design flaws and unable to handle the request it get's, particularly when the actual site forces so much data in those requests.

I think it was smart to have to register first before you see the price. Every tom dikk and harry would default to the most expsnive and be like, "oh no, the sky is falling* when based on their information their plan might only cost 1/4 of that.

So you go on the site, create a profile and give the site your info but doesn't show you prices...that is a major problem. That's like going signing up for a subscription to something and don't know how much it costs to receive. Let me know when you get on and know the prices homie cause I doubt it's cheap and doubt it's Millions that interested after 2 weeks of failure.

I have health insurance
And if you don't you have to sign up regardless of how much you like the plan. When you sign up THEN you get plan prices based on your information.

If you had a choice prior to signing up i could SORTA see your argument, but you're going to have to sign up regardless so them wanting to give you accurate information only makes sense.

I have health insurance too that doesn't change the fact that you have to get O-Care in the near future. My point makes perfect sense....you are claiming the traffic of millions being the reason it's blocked up, then there should be someone you know or I know that has it. So far no one I know has it or can get on. So you must know someone. Btw....it doesn't matter on if there is different prices for different people....I haven't seen a price or package period.

But that's not what happened here. People who do this for a living are saying that it was poorly put together, didn't take into account for possible traffic, and it wasn't ready to be implemented.

Saying it was deliberately undermined without providing a single shred of evidence is tin foil status.

This has been an embarrassment. When Apple puts out Apple Maps and it doesn't work and is full of bugs, people point it out. Same thing happened here.

No need to blindly defend incompetence. Someone or some people should be fired for this.

Word these kats are quick to blame another party for sabotaging it when there is no proof. I guess they have been blaming those same failures on others through the last 5 years of this administration cause Barry can't do no wrong.

Obamacare was ruled a tax by the supreme court. that's really all you need to know
uh of course its a tax dummies. it will always be a tax. no matter if a repub says it aint or if obeezy says it aint. its a tax.

and SO WHAT. you've been paying a TAX with every pay check. to make sure if some idiot that has no insurance that could have had at least a smidget of some for semi cheap. when he goes into the emergency room for a bad cut or a broken leg. guess who pays for it? you and I. thats a tax my friend.

i will say this for a the zillionth time. go single payer. so i can know up front how much of my money is going to the health industry. take a ton early. so there are no hidden fees. because thats what they are now. hidden fees. the reason your premiums are so high now is because of a hidden tax to cover those who dont have coverage. dont be fooled. and i'm not talking out the side of my hide. i've been in the health insurance industry for years.
