True, but none of the actions taken by the Fed and congress look like they are going to halt our rapid debt accumulation...Not really downplaying it. It needs to be addressed, but as long as the USD is the international reserve currency, there is basically no chance of the hyperinflation associated with extremely high debt levels, which we haven't even reached yet.
