Still waiting on this quote of me posting my IG. You're lying, that's just pitiful. :mjlol:
My wife is not hispanic and I used to work @ The Jackie Robinson Foundation. But yes, I did go to Syracuse University and made lifelong friendships with all types of people. lol
The last sentence doesn't make a lot of sense not going to bother to interpret.
This is the same dude claiming I'm obsessed with him? Just wow. :mjlol:
How would I know all of this If you didn't tell me your IG?

:francis:

Come on fam. :mjlol:

How effective is it? Biden outpaced her in her own district?

I'm going to post some of the things she's done for her community (using $1mill of her campaign funds to get people in her community to fill out the census, raising another $1mil for various non-profits, most recently raising $200k for local food banks and eviction legal defense, direct food delivery to district residents, raising $60k for undocumented people in her district who couldn't qualify for any stimulus check), then you judge for yourself:
Most of her outreach is aimed at being national.
Nah.

Basically every single time he's opened his mouth since he's left office it's been some shyt that has attracted the ire of the progressive/youth wing of the party.

Bill was still a pretty universally revered figure for the entire Bush era, he didn't start getting his comeuppance until like mid-Obama era. Obama getting clapped at and told to shut up by freshman Democratic congress members 4 years after he left office, and his administration was getting called out by this wing of the party pretty early into the Trump era. Probably because the Party got gutted under his stewardship. No one in this wing is asking to play Obama's greatest hits.

She lived and ran in a safe dem district where the person she replaced was put there because it was a safe path to POTUS.

I'm glad she beat him. I love young people shaking up the political establishment. Since I've been on this site I have always advocated for local people to run and win elections to better represent their constituents.

I've always felt that AOC has represented her constituents. I've applauded her for going door to door early in Covid and believe that's part of what helps her connect

I've worked with my local house Alma Adam's since NC was redistricted and she had to move from the triad to Charlotte. She placed an office on my running trail and I walked in and have been engaged ever since. Her positions were at one point viewed as "progressive."

But they both engage their constituents and fight for what they're elected for and I will always support that.

AOC has potential to be a force and I believe she will. But people who support her have to understand that her value if she decides to go national isn't about advancing the views of super blue dem districts..

Instead to nationally advance the type of legislation that works in NYC and SF to the national stage.

I don't understand what you mean by this post. Skipped over Bush Jr?
Obama has a national policy that affects people every day named for him. His VP is headed to the White House

Bush jr started two wars and the Republicans never mention his name.

Clinton and Hillary basically became a two person deal. They aren’t hated but aren’t beloved.

Obama is still the most popular person the left. And I know most of the vitriol is people rehashing blue check without actually reading his book.

I know this is a fact but the official thread here doesn't get the same reaction.

I want to see AOC in the Senate, but I don’t know if She can win a state wide election.

People don't love that national policy as it stands, they just like it better than the alternative of nothing. Biden ran on drastically reforming/completing it. He's already saying Obamacare + Public Option = Bidencare. Obamacare as we know it won't exist in a few years.

I still don't understand why we're talking about Bush Jr when my claim was that Obama's cache with young/progressive voters has suffered and his Presidency is aging badly like Bill Clinton's. No one serious is looking to the Clinton era with adoring eyes anymore. That is already the path the Obama era is on. The Youth/Left wing of the party aren't clamoring for a rerun of the 8 years of Republican obfuscation and Dem capitulation leading to ruin that marked the Obama years. Obama's accomplishments aren't revered by this wing. At least Clinton and his cronies got about a decade to bask in the sun.

I'd assume anyone from America would understand the traditional North South dichotomy for progress. :francis:

I don't understand what you mean when you say "her value if she decides to go national isn't about advancing the views of super blue dem districts..instead to nationally advance the type of legislation that works in NYC and SF to the national stage."

Are NYC and SF not super blue dem districts? So what does advancing the type of legislation that works in NYC and SF look like if not advancing the views of super blue dem districts?

You're a self admitted accelerationist.

Why would I assume anything you say priotitizies making people's lives better?
