My wife is not hispanic and I used to work @ The Jackie Robinson Foundation. But yes, I did go to Syracuse University and made lifelong friendships with all types of people. lol

I didn't say other reps or senators aren't engaging their constituents. Many of them, republicans included, do the standard but vital townhalls to stay in-tune with the needs of the constituents. I'm just saying that AOC engages in community outreach and support in ways that not many other people in congress aren't doing. Take her calls for people to volunteer to remotely help students with their homework for example. This is not a trivial matter, a lot of students across the country are falling behind, because classroom environment is very difficult to replicate and a lot of parents do not possess the knowledge to help their kids along.

Most of her outreach is aimed at being national. That's cool. But until she she actually runs for a statewide office what makes her different than someone like Devin Nunes?
