You been grasping at straws to try to justify your Obama hate and why he was the worst and in light of Trump and Bush, it makes you sound silly. How you more angry at Obama for not fixing the fire in the way you wanted than the one who started the fire.
I wasn't aware this thread about George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

:ld: I have no hope
Out of the liberal snark/Obama legacy lust in this forum and thread, this is the only honest statement from them. I appreciate it.

A lot of our centrists friends have no hope and believe in nothing except trying to beat white people at the white supremacism game.

He supported Elizabeth Warren. lol

And I got in line with Biden like an adult. I didn’t cry about how she was cheated, threaten to not vote and try to rip down other Democrats because they’re not pure perfect candidates like a little hoe, like you did and still do. My life went on. You still gargling Bernie’s balls years later. Hoe.

uhh, I think he was talking about me...who was a supporter of Warren in the primary, not Bernie, and also got in line with Biden and didn't advocate not voting...yet still isn't in here denying Warren's entire political origin story in an effort to promote ahistorical nonsense about the Obama administration's actions and inactions while espousing racist propaganda about how the financial crash only "affected a sliver of black home buyers" and tying Obama's timidity to his blackness.

I never said Bernie was cheated in 2020. I said the opposite. If I did please quote it.
And it's not years later it's still 2020. lol

I like that he's implying they have a choice when they don't...

They'll give her a platform because she already has her own and, while she's a lightning rod, her views aren't that ideologically different than Jayapal's -- who is highly regarded within the party.

She's one of the better Congressional fundraisers and does so while having no real influence there. Imagine if she chaired a committee? If they aren't turning over leadership, we need more committees anyway.

If you want to temper her less sophisticated takes, then you can't marginalize her. She came in with zero prior experience and she's still in her freshman term so there's no reason to believe she couldn't improve.

Where necessary, performatively campaign against her like certain frontline members already do with Pelosi -- I'm not sure why that wasn't already the play. Unless it's of her own volition, she isn't going anywhere so managing her is the rational option.

Oh cool. Whatever. I did support Warren. And I supported Obama back then. I support Biden now. Me and you....we’ll never see eye to eye. You wanna burn the system down. And you hate everyone else who doesn’t ergo you trying to paint Obama out to be some comic book villain when he clearly wasn’t. There’s maybe five people in the universe that can pass your purity test. We’re not going to have a productive conversation.

500,000 people are projected to be dead by April and you talking about Obama wasn’t a “good President” :dead: :russ: This is ridiculous. Y’all are ridiculous.

That’s why I made the Occupy WS comment genius.

You been grasping at straws to try to justify your Obama hate and why he was the worst and in light of Trump and Bush, it makes you sound silly. How you more angry at Obama for not fixing the fire in the way you wanted than the one who started the fire. Make it make sense. You ignore common sense (that a black President couldn’t effect change in the way you wanted), you ignore what he did do (fixing a fukked up economy that should’ve been a Depression) and you keep calling him horrible yet you can’t pinpoint what he did exactly that makes him a horrible President. I don’t think you know what horrible means :comeon: and IDK what economic data you looking at...Obama left the economy in much better shape than he found it. Not the stock market. The general economy. You don’t know what you talking about. You just saying sh*t and hoping no one asks you to explain in detail.

The black president had 65% approval rating throughout 2009.

He had 59 US Senators. 256 US House seats.

Stimulus shoulda been larger.

ACA passed via reconciliation with 51 votes, do Medicaid expansion in 2010 not 2014. Instead of insane ACA exchanges Dems coulda just did Medicaid to 300% FPL in a quick reconciliation bill early in 2009.

DOJ prosecutes bankers who caused financial crisis

Instead of letting foreclosure wave hit, do a moratorium. Or do as Paulson suggested under Bush, write down mortgages.

Obama had many opportunities and tools at his disposal. He didn't even try to do executive orders until he lost the US House and it was 2014! when he said "I've got a pen and a phone"

I can at least understand where you coming from with this post because it’s real criticism and not just saying he was horrible. When I have more time to digest, I’ll really read what you’re saying and respond.

FDR was the only great president.

outside of WWII :troll:

Eh, I'd put Lyndon up there.

I know Vietnam is the big stain on his record but his accomplishments in office otherwise rival those of FDR IMO.

I disagree with Reagan 100% but he was effective as fukk so I guess he's up there too? :ld: imagine if Obama was as ruthless as Reagan was.

Truth of the matter is, the presidency has seen a lot of bad actors and a lot of mid. Obama falls in the latter category. I think he knows this, hence his defensiveness on his memoir tour.

Are we now pretending that those weren't centrists senators who lost their seats because they weren't willing to go far enough? :lolbron:

@DEAD7 they want it both ways.

Excuse me for saying Dems should have governed better and brand achievements day and night so they didn’t lose state houses and Congress and now won’t win US House or Senate together ever again.
