Go read about a tactic called "media propaganda"
You're sad and docile. That's why you're on the coli hoeing instead of doing anything worth while. Why do you self-loathing saps always talk about some "we?"

Motherfukk you. Calling me sad and docile. Look at you. A fukking web warrior. Always knows whats wrong with something but don't no how to fix it.

"We" Don't speak on some motherfukking "we" because you're clearly disillusioned if you think for a second that Black plight is a symptom of Popular hip-hop and not the other way around. "Coco" wouldn't exist if American Slavery and Jim Crow didn't exist.

"We" Nah you all alone homie. :camby:

:russ:@ thinking a white man would care enough about the black community to want to censor hiphop

Hiphop is now our enemy's tool being used against us(assuming YOU are black:sas2:)

You sound just like the white people over on Fox News when it comes to hip hop. You share the same ideology and thoughts. I can pull up several YouTube videos of Geraldo, Hannity and Bill Oriely :skip:

Are you that clueless and dense to not know that whites tried to censor Ice-t, nwa and 2 live crew?

I truly don't think you give a shyt about the black community. You don't live in a black community and you don't do shyt for black people. You just sit behinds keyboard and type up bullshyt about rap and blame all problems on rap music.

You never once adress the real issues in the black community nor do you offer any solutions. You just ramble on and on. fukk outta here man :pachaha:

Music can be a poison. Like drugs, it will make you feel good, but in the long run, be bad for you. It was explained to me once that the devil, was a musician. He played the most beautiful music and anyone who listened to it, loved it. It was one way he controlled you. If you believe in that stuff, same thing applies here. Music that is catered to our youth, sounds cool to them, but they are slowly digesting the words as truth as well. Knowing that many kids aren't really that bright, it helps to lead them down the wrong path.
I'm atheist.

How can u offer solutions to a people that doesnt think there's a problem? That doesnt know they are being systematically oppressed? That sees themselves as "n1ggers" "thugs" "savages" and "dopeboys"? If u honestly have no problem with a song that has "bakin soda i got baking soda" as its main part then u are blind also. You have been made to accept this minstrel show as merely "entertainment". We have no standards. Plain and simple. Some of us care tho. Let us cook

Is "this shyt bangs" really the only criteria some of you have for a track? :dahell:

Depending on the artist and where you are at that particular moment... :leostare:

post-25374-Michael-Jordan-YEAH-gif-wyUJ.gif

Welcome to the post Lil Jon Hip Hop. Where a message can be as destructive as it can be, as long as hoes get down in the club.

so yall nggas dont wanna get serious about what this music is doing to youth...as always we gonna have to learn the hard way when its too late

nikkas don't give a fukk about the youth. If they did, they would educate them the insides and outs on why drugs, etc. are bad and tell about the lifelong consequences of it. A lot of these #newblack kids have parents of generation X that failed raising them cause they were too damn busy with their own thing.
This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed in our community. So its ok to u that murder, cocaine distribution, promiscuity and gang culture is being so blatantly promoted to the black youth? Yall are ok with this? Yall or ok with the fact that old white and jewish men like Jimmy Iovine are dictating the direction of our hiphop? Let me guess: as long as the beat bangs rite? We are truly a sad, docile people:snoop:

Bu bu but nikkas know that real nikkas do what they want. Can't be a lame in front of these hoes and you gotta have swag to get these hoes :stopitslime:

Its already too late bruh. The systematic brainwashing of blacks is so deep that we ourselves call the BLATANT poisoning of our minds "entertainment"

Why else does Love and Hip Hop keep getting more and more seasons of dysfunction while higher rated black shows in the past that showed good black characters, gotten off the air with the quickness.

Breh, the scary thing about this poison is how good sum of it sounds. Im not denying at all that the beat bangs and that its catchy. And thats why its so effective!!! Dont yall get how mind control works? Its simple and has a hot beat. Easy to repeat by kids. This music is PURPOSELY being used to keep the black youth in a zombie-like mindstate. Music has a powerful affect on the subconscious. The image of the black man and woman is under attack . Thug is synonymous with the black male

Don't tell them that. They understand when a lost youngin clap them up.

When Eminem rapped about killing his mother and his baby's mother and raping them and raping random other women and popping pills and raping dudes or whatever kind of sick twisted serial killer shyt he was on.. did it "destroy" middle class white people neighborhoods? Did it destroy people we would classify as white trash? No. Yeah, parents bytched about him I'm sure and there were talks and shyt, there were even killings that some tried to link to Eminem lyrics but at the end of the day he got a pass because 1. People understand that he doesn't "represent" any white community and 2. His shyt was entertainment. Like movies. Like television shows. Like video games.

"Coco" isn't turning a good kid with the books into a street vendor. It's a fukking copout. Sure, blame music but turn your head when it comes to the real issues. The problems with the current urban communities is not a song called "Coco". It's many things including lack of infrastructure in those communities and that is based around politics. It starts with the white men in Washington. "Coco" doesn't turn the kid to drug dealing. He is already drug dealing because that is on the environment and sometimes a lack of parenting comes into play as well.

"Coco" is a B-action flick. It's not to be taken seriously and isn't...

The problem is when dudes like OT only get their voices heard.
THIS! As I've said on multiple occasions, all art forms should comprehensively reflect life. One of the reasons the 90's was considered the golden era is because of the DIVERSITY of the genre. The art form captured URBAN reality in its totality. You had POPULAR drug songs, conscious songs, gangster songs, love songs, dance songs, silly/fun/ridiculous songs (which is an important lane as well). The main problem now isn't necessarily songs like Coco specifically, its that pretty much every song you hear on the radio endorses negativity, self-indulgence, or was LITERALLY made for the strip club (which has become a MUCH to prominent entrenchment in our culture!). Y'all can say I'm hating all you want; you'll just be wrong! THIS is reality and without much more content diversity our beloved genre will further degenerate into the minstrel show that we are currently witnessing. :manny:
