getting voted #1 on that rookie poll is a kiss of death most of the time :picard:
we will see

but this is shyte i been seeing since shyte before duke

trainers coaches teammates opponents talk about son like he's the bigg bucket

at the same time some hoopers are just stars among their own peers like maybe not stars to the casual fan but gods among other hoopers

time will tell

Frank + Rim Protector has been advanced stats gold since he was a rookie defending in front of KP. It translated to his numbers with Mitch last year. It's translated with Gobert for France. Pair him with a rim protector and you can focus entirely on offense at the next three spots (plus he can slot in at 1,2 or 3 so you have positional flexibility). If he's knocking down jumpers, he belongs in the rotation. Especially since we have a lot of offensive minded players.

Nice podcast discussing Frank's FIBA performance showing confidence, improved burst in first step, size and physique stand out, signs of growth even over just five months back, interesting tidbit about stepping into his jumpers vs planted takes...that's within the first ten mins.

It’s crazy how little we talk about Julius Randle lol

Believe it or not, that might be a good thing. We usually focus on players with a lot of upside but who have not yet consistently proven it like Knox & Mitch, or

busts like Frank...so I feel like most of us are confident Randle will be just fine and don’t need to stress it.
