I was arguin today with 2 NY dudes and it was all fun n games so we start naming all the trends and changes LA and NYC started and the more we go on, the more you realize all that talk NYC nikkas make about how NY this NY that, we started this we was the first to do that is a lie. California and the south both started more shyt than NYC.

The only thing NY done started was old school rap and adiddas

Even current rap is more closely related to old school west coast rap and southern rap. No one is outside on cardboard boxes with boomboxes

It's always been true fam. The only significant thing NY contributed was hip hop, and even with that, they got it snatched from them by the west and we shaped rap up to what its really posed to be. Now 90% of NY rappers are spittin over southern beats
