NY nikkas, why was North Bronx left out?

Yes my nikka look at a map

The whole Fordham neighborhood is West Bronx

And Fordham may feed into Pelham Parkway but that’s firmly East Bronx on that side

I think the problem identifying where the North ends and South begins is geogeaphically the BX is as wide east/ west than it is North/south.
