Pelham Parkway is dumb close to fordham bruh..:pachaha:

Pelham runs deep tho
:dwillhuh: @ the bold

Fam, Pelham Parkway = Fordham road = w 207th street. You can go from Pelham Bay Park & city island to the heights by driving straight and never turning off the road. Go peep the 12 bus route
Pelham and Fordham ain’t South Bronx though y’all getting caught up in semantics that was the main argument that’s what @Wild self said

They’re close like a 1-3 miles depending on how deep on Fordham you are or how deep on Pelham you are y’all know nikkas are very territorial though

Fordham is West Bronx and Pelham is East Bronx it’s that simple

In Pelham Parkway the 2 and the 5 are the trains that run. Streets like White Plains Road and Cruger than run in Northeast run in Pelham

East Elmhurst was an African American area just like Hollis. These days East Elmhurst is very Hispanic but older African Americans still own those large houses you see by LaGuardia Airport. Northern BLVD by 102nd street was also sort of the hood.

I live in East Elmhurst. My block is like 45% Hispanic. 45% black. A couple of Indians moved in. 101 and Northern is still the hood. But that's more on the Corona side. There are a lot of middle class homes but also a lot of shelters here. And definitely pockets of areas people won't feel comfortable walking around at 3 in the morning.

Oh word? Last time I was northern Blvd it looks very Hispanic with Hispanic bars and clubs and businesses. Yea the northern part of the area where the large houses are at is def like 50/50 black Hispanic. Not shocked a lot of homeless shelters are there. Seems like black and Hispanic hoods welcome them while Asians and white hoods in queens protest against them.

Actually there is a Haitian owned 99 cents store on Astoria BLvd

Northern is definitely more hispanic now. That's the Corona/ East Elmhurst area. But once you go north towards astoria blvd and past it, it's a lot more black. It's a traditional black neighborhood but it's going thru changes. You talking about the 99 cent store on 98th? There's a lot of Haitians out here too. I got a bunch of Haitian friends around the block

No its not generational. You can tell who just be chatting and who actually had any analog interactions with heads from uptown.

I remember one of these goofies on here tried to swear up and down that fordham is considered the North Bronx :dead:

Edit: see post above for exhibit A:mjlol:.

Not sure if Fordham is North BX but it damn sure ain’t south BX

Fordham is 190 something street which would make it more North than South BX
Fordham Road is the West Bronx.

Jamaicans are in the Northeast Bronx…the Northwest Bronx for example is a completely different place demographically not that many Jamaicans so what you talking about.

Pelham Parkway is nowhere near the South Bronx either shyt is East Bronx. :mjtf:

There’s more East Fordham than west :gucci:

Webster, Grand Concourse. etc is west Bronx? :gucci:

Fordham Road isn’t the South Bronx the streets that run there are the high 180’s the hell you talking about man no it ain’t basically nothing :mjtf:

Pelham Parkway is a long way from the South Bronx :mjtf:

Pelham Parkway is also not right next to Fordham Road it’s past Southern Boulevard you have to get on the road to get over there that crosses to Bronx Park East:mjlol:

shyt is East Bronx…fukking White Plains Road runs over there :dahell:

:gucci:

Fordham Rd and Pelham Parkway are literally the same street, they turn into each other

Yes my nikka look at a map

The whole Fordham neighborhood is West Bronx

And Fordham may feed into Pelham Parkway but that’s firmly East Bronx on that side

How can Fordham be west Bronx when most Fordham streets literally have an “E” in front of them? :gucci:

West Fordham starts on Jerome then like a mile further west you’re in Manhattan :dwillhuh:
