Air Forces 1 is a worldwide shoe imo. I grew up in the Midwest-South and Nikes we’re always the #1 shoe and Forces had a simple casual look that you could wear it with anything.

A white pair of forces, with a white tee and some nice jeans held me down in high school. :mjlol:

I prefer Nike Cortez over AF1’s tho…That’s the GOAT Nike casual sneaker imo :wow:

They’re saying Air Force 1s but some people are saying that’s a NY thing and even just a universal staple. :jbhmm:

What’s the staple shoe of the South? Forces, Gucci flip flops, Jordans, Reeboks, Filas, Lugz?:jbhmm:

Nah Air force 1 was an NY thing back in the 80s when they first came out. But they had a resurgence in the 00s thanks to ATL.

Jordans are a universal staple.

Atlanta in the 90’s used to wear Fila’s, Deion Sanders Nikes, Air Max, Jordan’s, and Reebok classics.

New Orleans used to wear Reeboks and Jordan’s

I honestly can’t remember if Houston had a staple sneaker. I was there for the 97’ pippens craze, but I remember A LOT of Jordan’s.

Jordan’s were universal but I wouldn’t mad at Chicago for claiming them, they took that “mikes” shyt to another level.
